Photography and Final Project (Week 10)

Mr Martin gave us a brief lectur on shutter speed before he asked us to take 4 images where two were in a fast shutter speed and the two other in slow. Fast shutter speed is used to take shots of fast moving things or people and the slow shutter is the complete opposite.

So, why Harry Potter.

I've been obssessed with the movie and the books since my childhood years that HP became apart of me. It isn't just about how the wizardly world is an escape from reality for me but also the way that JK Rowling developed.

It isn't just about the incredible characters that will forever be in our hearts.

It includes those things, yes.

But, for me, the underlying themes in this series are what makes it so great. This series says so much about friendship, standing up in the face of adversity, loyalty and love, escpecially this tune of music when the war broke out between Harry and Voldemort. It is about being there for your friend in the time of need. It is about compassion for your fellow man. It taught me to not be so judgemental and harsh. It taught me to be more aware of the struggles others might be facing.

He showed me the magic of life! He was a nice company when I wanted to escape the every day stress! He made me laugh and cry! He made me understand the graveness of reading!

The point is you can read or watch it again and again and it never gets old. Even though I know what will happen next in a sad scene or happy, that won't stop me from crying or smiling once again.

Old round glasses like Harry's which shows hogward destroyed at the final movie. But despite that everyone supported each other and was there for one another. The background is a blurry picture of the destroyed hogwards and I will be standing beside Harry to show my support while Ron and Hermoine are also shown on the other side.

In one of the movies, one of Harry's friend was at risk of death and getting murdered. The three of them used a magic hourglass to go back to the past and this could japordize the future but they did it all to save a friend. The background is the three of them rushing running to save and I'm inside the hourglass with hogwards at the top and me and the bottom. I will be sitting/lying as sand falls and covers me.

I'm reading Harry Potter books under a huge Harry potter book like a tent. It's dark at night which fills tension when Im reading. Trees are made like bookshelves, my personal library. Hogwards at the end of the path with wizards flying on broom sticks.
